Planning

Review requests and build event playlists

Approve music deliberately and keep request changes visible.

MyGigMgr 2026.09
  1. Open the event in Planning and select Music planning. Create playlists for the categories you need, including a separate do-not-play list when appropriate.
  2. Set the client and guest request deadline under Request deadline and guest access. Zero hours keeps requests open until the event starts; staff can still manage playlists afterward.
  3. Review requests, priorities, and any duplicate or do-not-play warnings. Confirm contradictory instructions with the client before approval.
  4. Choose the destination playlist and select Approve and add to playlist. Repeating approval keeps one matching entry. Do-not-play requests must go to a do-not-play playlist.
  5. Use Edit song details, Up, Down, and Remove song to maintain the playlist. Review changed or withdrawn requests again; their generated playlist entries can be removed when approval no longer applies.
  6. Download CSV for the local playlist or M3U for supported Spotify track references. These downloads do not contain audio or publish the playlist to Spotify.

Good to know

Spotify search and account tools require configured provider access and an eligible plan. Preview and import only supported owned or collaborative playlists. Music requests do not establish availability or licensing.
